Cloud phones solve one half of multi-account work: every account gets its own Android device. The other half is the network. If ten cloud phones share one connection, or connect from a datacenter IP, the device looks like a phone but the traffic does not. This guide shows how to give each DuoPlus cloud phone its own 4G/5G mobile IP from SP5 Proxies, in about five minutes.
Why a mobile IP matters on a cloud phone
Apps such as TikTok, Instagram and WhatsApp are built for phones, and most phone users connect through a mobile carrier. A mobile proxy gives the cloud phone an IP address from a real carrier network, so the device type and the network type tell the same story.
Typical uses:
- One cloud phone and one IP per social media account
- Testing an app or an ad from a specific country or US state
- Checking how a mobile store or website looks to local users
What you need
- A DuoPlus account with at least one cloud phone
- An SP5 Proxies account: https://sp5proxies.com
- One SP5 SOCKS5 mobile proxy per cloud phone
DuoPlus custom proxies use the SOCKS5 type, so pick an SP5 plan that supports SOCKS5:
- Golden: mobile, username and password, choose country and state. The best default for most accounts.
- Turbo: premium mobile, username and password.
- Nitro: SOCKS5 mobile from live inventory, with a random new location on the same port.
- Silver: budget weekly or monthly mobile option.
Injection and Turbo Injection plans use IP allowlist authentication over HTTP only, so they do not fit this setup.
SP5 mobile plans are billed by time, not per GB. You choose a duration, from 2 hours up to 30 days, and pay once. A daily fair-use allowance of about 15 GB per proxy applies.
Step 1: Get a SOCKS5 proxy from SP5
- Create an account at https://sp5proxies.com and verify your email. New users can try one SOCKS5 mobile proxy free for 1 hour, subject to eligibility.
- Choose a plan, then the country, state and duration.
- Open your dashboard and copy the connection details: host, port, username and password. Make sure the protocol is SOCKS5.
Pick the location your account actually needs. An account for users in Texas should run on a Texas mobile IP, not a random one.
Step 2: Add the proxy in DuoPlus
- In the DuoPlus dashboard, open Proxies in the left sidebar.
- Under Custom Proxy, click Add.
- Keep the type as Socks5. Paste the full line, for example
socks5://host:port:username:password, and the fields fill in automatically. You can also type them in one by one. - Click Check. When it passes, click Save.
Bought several proxies? Use Batch Add and paste one proxy per line.
Step 3: Assign the proxy to a cloud phone
- Open Cloud Phone and find the phone.
- Click Initialize Proxy in the Action column.
- Under Network, choose Added Proxy and select the SP5 proxy from Step 2.
- If the simulation settings allow it, match the phone's location, time zone and language to the proxy location.
- Save.
Step 4: Power on and confirm the IP
- Go back to the cloud phone list and click Power On.
- Open a browser on the cloud phone and visit https://sp5proxies.com/tools. The IP, country and carrier should match the SP5 proxy you chose.
Keep the setup stable
- One proxy per phone. Do not share one IP between accounts.
- Keep the location steady. Avoid moving an account between countries every day. If you really need a new location on Golden, Silver or Turbo, switch it from the SP5 dashboard at no extra charge.
- Match time zone and language to the proxy location.
- Renew before expiry from the SP5 dashboard, Windows app or Android app, so the phone never loses its connection.
- Follow each platform's rules. Proxies help you stay organized; they do not replace a platform's terms of service.
Troubleshooting
- Check fails in DuoPlus: confirm the type is SOCKS5 and the username and password have no extra spaces.
- No network after power on: make sure the SP5 proxy is still active, then run Check again.
- Wrong location: confirm the location in your SP5 dashboard, then restart the cloud phone.
Summary
DuoPlus gives each account its own Android device in the cloud. SP5 gives each device its own mobile carrier IP, billed by time. Together, every account runs on a separate device and a separate mobile connection.
